THE INTERVIEW WITH GOD

I dreamed I had an interview with God.

“So you would like to interview me?” God asked.

“If you have the time” I said.

God smiled. “My time is eternity.”“What questions do you have in mind for me?”

“What surprises you most about humankind?”

God answered...

“That they get bored with childhood, they rush to grow up, and then long to be children again.”

“That they lose their health to make money...and then lose their money to restore their health.”

“That by thinking anxiously about the future, they forget the present, such that they live in
neither the present nor the future.”

"That they live as if they will never die, and die as though they had never lived.”

God’s hand took mineand we were silent for a while.

And then I asked...

“As a parent, what are some of life’s lessons you want your children to learn?”

“To learn they cannot make anyone love them. All they can do is let themselves be loved.”

“To learn that it is not good to compare themselves to others.”

“To learn to forgiveby practicing forgiveness.”

“To learn that it only takes a few seconds to open profound wounds in those they love, and it can take many years to heal them.”

“To learn that a rich person is not one who has the most, but is one who needs the least.”

“To learn that there are people who love them dearly, but simply have not yet learned how to express or show their feelings.”

“To learn that two people can look at the same thing and see it differently.”

“To learn that it is not enough that they forgive one another, but they must also forgive themselves.”

"Thank you for your time," I said humbly.

"Is there anything else you would like your children to know?

"God smiled and said,

“Just know that I am here... always.”

Morp...
Do NOT forget about Morp. I'm here. Look at the green grass and the blue sky and then look for eggs and buy some cheese. After that, don't forget to fill in the gas. I like coffee in the morning.
Wait...
I wanted to say something...
Oh... yes...
Morp is here. I'm here. Yes. And I have something to say. Zuka is self-centered. I mean really, how can she think that she has such an important big opinion about something? Turn left and go down the hall. Then you'll see the bathroom. You know what I mean? Actually, she has a point. The sport is interesting. But I think everything is interesting when it is examined in detail. I mean, find me one thing that doesn't just become absolutely fascinating when you really pay attention to it. The world is filled with amazing things. Soccer is one of them. The American mind is another. Actually, watching Americans is almost like watching soccer. Maybe that is why most of the world is watching America. It's like watching a really long soccer game.
Okay.
Danger ahead.
Don't forget to wear a lifevest.

Why Americans are not interested in World Cup?

First I am a big fan of World Cup, and I am not American. I just couldn't understand why people from the rest of world are so crazy about world cup while Americans still stay so cool. One of my coworker who is American said "Soccor is not a sport." Is that so?
"Because most of Americans are self-centred. They think they are the best, if they are not interested in soccor, they are also not care to know why the other people are interested in it " another friend who is not American said. This made me think as multiple cultures coexist in America. Do Americans really appriciate or respect the other cultures? Do they treat people equally no matter where they are from? what color their skin is? what language they speak? Like the news of yesterday, Prisident Bush wants immigrants who become American citizens to 'have a command of the English language'. Why those immigrants who become American citizens can't stay with their own language but still be pround of being an American. "Freedom of speech"guaranteed by the first amendment. Do some Americans also have the freedom to speak only in other languages than english? Does english has to be some kind of standard of being American? Yesterday one artical from Pioneer news people written about world cup. "No one who actually is from here cares about the most over-hyped, mind-numbingly boring event in the world" He claimed "We don't like soccer because we do understand it. And it's awful." "When it comes to soccer, we're right, and the rest of the world is wrong." "Yes, America may be the only country that doesn't go goofy for soccer. We also are the only remaining super power. Don't you see a connection there?" Just like my friend as what a "self-centered" American he is!

I'm sick and tired of Zuka. Zuka this... Zuka that... Who is Zuka anyway? She smells and her socks are dirty. Why does she get all of the attention? What about me? Pay attention to me. Hello blog readers. Look at me. Look here. I'm the one you should listen to.

Hello I am Here

Summer is coming. It's hot today. Morp got two toys today: One is universal bluetooth headphone. The other is a saw tool. We are now in the basement. It's cool here. Besides, we have a bigger TV here... and more space. We fixed our basement last winter. Our plan for this summer is the upstairs.
I haven't gone to Towania for long time. I know I need to do the lawn, especially it's summer. Grass grows so fast. I like fishing in Towania. I spend most of my time fishing. I know it's not fun for others if I don't talk to the people in the town, especially my neigbors. I even didn't write letters to them... I am just too busy making money to pay back my house loan. Now I have a bigger house. Next, I need some furniture to fit in the house.
